The problem
Transfer fees in football are notoriously hard to reason about — headline numbers get compared across eras and leagues with wildly different transfer market inflation, making it difficult to tell whether a fee is actually fair or just loud.
The approach
Valu8ed grounds a player’s valuation in real performance data — position, league strength, age, contract length, and multi-season stats like appearances, goals, assists, and expected goals — rather than headlines or reputation alone. A companion inflation converter lets you see how a historic transfer fee would translate to today’s market.
